Part of our children’s Christian education is their participation in worship.
All children attend the first part of the service with their families and hear a children’s message given by the pastor. Then are invited to attend Sunday School, using a Cokesbury curriculum, while worship continues.
Every volunteer is given a background check before being permitted to work with children.
Childcare for infants and toddlers (children too young to attend Kids Sunday School)is provided each Sunday during worship.
The volunteer on duty is in the Child Care room by 10:15 am. Parents should provide diapers, formula, food and special toys for the children. Every volunteer is given a background check before being permitted to work with children.
We are fortunate to have a collaborative relationship with Lower Brandywine Presbyterian Church in Greenville, Delaware. Lower Brandywine has welcomed our teens to participate in their youth group, called LIFT, and in their youth choir.
However, our students are active (and encouraged) to participate in the life of Green Hill.
We have youth who serve as Deacons and several teens enjoy singing solos, reading scripture, etc.
