On behalf of the very warm and loving congregation of Green Hill Presbyterian Church, let me say how very pleased we are that you have navigated to this link to learn more about our church family.  Green Hill Presbyterian Church is a family of believers in the goodness and grace of God shown to us in Jesus Christ, who seek to worship and serve him with our lives.  We believe in the Bible as the inspired Word of God, in Jesus as God’s Son incarnate who lived a sinless life so that he could die in our place as the perfect sacrifice to take away the punishment for sin that was justly due to us.  “God made him [Jesus] who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Cor. 5:21).   The wonderful reality is that by faith in Jesus we can give all our sin and guilt to him who died to take it all away, to be remembered no more, and in exchange we receive his righteousness, all as a gift of God’s grace.  Jesus rose from the dead to validate that he has won the victory over sin and death.  In gratitude for so great a salvation, we seek to devote our lives in him and his service.  Where we fall short of God’s expectations, we can confess our sins to God and claim the promise of forgiveness again in Jesus.  We know that we are accepted in him who is God’s beloved Son. It is our joy to share this faith with you.  We would love to help you however we can.  Perhaps you have some questions about Christianity or about religion, or just about life.  I’d love to be able to talk with you about those concerns.  I’m here to help in any way I can.  I know you’ll find that same spirit of loving kindness and concern throughout our church family.

It would be a joy to have you join us for worship and get better acquainted so that we can support and encourage you in your walk with God.  A family is where you can be yourself!  We’re not looking for you to “become like us,” but to be yourself and what God has intended for you to be!  We know God has given you some unique gifts by which to be a blessing to others!  We hope you’ll stop in soon.  We think you’ll be glad you did!
